Defensive Publishing May Protect Seeds from Patents in the US

I was just told about this in an email. The Vermont Law School has released a publication on defensive publishing to prevent patents. I’m not any sort of expert in patent law, but this looks like it might be an alternative to OSSI in the US.

I’m pretty sure that this only applies in the US, at least I think patents here in Europe work differently.
