Food Growing Blogger Get-Together

Kate of Hills and Plains recently posted a suggestion of a get-together in Australia.  If anyone thinks they might be interested in participating in something like that, you should certainly have a look at her post.

If any readers find themselves in Europe and would like to meet me, and perhaps get some seeds or plants from me, please send me an email.  Certainly if you are visiting Amsterdam, we should try to get together.  Depending on the circumstances, I may travel within Europe as well, particularly to nearby countries like Belgium, Germany, France and the UK.

  1. I’d love to see you if you should find yourself in the UK any time! Likewise if I find myself in Europe, but as a recovering agoraphobic I don’t tend to travel very much.

  2. Patrick, I’d like to e-mail you but can’t find the address ….?? I’ve been thinking about a European garden bloggers’ meeting, along the lines of the one they had in Austin and that Kate is organising in Australia. The idea was to combine it with a tour of the bulb fields in the netherlands next spring. but there’d have to be a local organiser (I’d do anything that didn’t necessitate “on the spot” action. Would you be interested? or come to that anyone else reading this comment? If so contact me. you can leave a comment on my blog – I moderate everything so it won’t automatically be published.

  3. Hi Rebsie — I like the idea of a get-together in the UK sometime. I have a friend who lives in London, and several bloggers live in or near London, so maybe we could meet there sometime. Lets keep it in mind.

Hi Sue — I don’t really know. Next spring is a long way away, and I don’t know if I will be here or if I’ll have time. Spring is always the busy time in the garden for me. Lets think about it, and maybe talk about it again in 6 months or so. If anyone else is interested, please speak up.

  4. Of course if you by any chance will plan to visit Poland, let me know. It would be very nice to meet 🙂
