Here’s another blog.
Mrs. Greenhands has done what I’ve always wanted to do, plant an old growth tree from seed somewhere I thought would be enjoyed by future generations.

Patrick, I did just that, with one of my children. We collected some acorns from a beautiful tree in the Adelaide hills and when we came home we planted one across the road, just inside the golf course fence (there wouldn’t have been room in my garden) and now, 15 years later, it is there, quite tall, and the only oak tree for many miles…our oak tree…and it will be there for a long time to come. Nice, very nice.
