Today’s weather forecast is partly cloudy, high temperature of 25C (about 80F), with a chance of scattered heavy showers and hail.
It’s really that last bit that gets to me, ‘hail’. After all shouldn’t there be some point in the summer when the chance of hail is behind us?
I talked to my Dad around father’s day, in NJ he said he had to light a fire to “get the dampness out of the air.” Unbelievable! 68 doesn’t feel like Summer to me. The funny thing about hail, you know I’m a Yankee, when ever I hear a Southerner say it it sounds pretty much the same as “hell.” It cracks me up every time I hear it! Those fire and brimstone fanatics!
