Eat the View

I wanted to make a belated mention and offer my full support of Roger’s ‘Eat the View’ campaign over at KGI, to convince the next president of the US to use part of the south lawn of the White House as an organic vegetable garden.  This received further support from Michael Pollan, who wrote about the idea in a New York Times Magazine article.

For more information and a link to the Pollan article, see this post at KGI.

  1. Do you know Ed Bruske’s website, The Slow Cook, which describes gardening in front of his house less than a mile from the White House … it’s really worth reading, one of my favourite blogs .. there’s a link on my blog – sorry not to provide it here, but my connection is suddenly slower than dial-up

  2. Hi Joanna,

Thank for mentioning this. I remember reading his blog some time ago, and for some reason it fell off my list of blogs I was paying attention to. Now that you mention it again, it’s worth having a another look!
