It's not quite as cold as it was a couple of days ago, but I walked up the canal into town after church, and while the city centre itself has been cleared, everything on the way was a sheet of ice. Yesterday, the saturday before Christmas, was the quietest Saturday I can remember in town. People just aren't shopping this year. It looks much the same here.
