More Theories and Less Certainty About CCD

The New York Times has an article today about the latest theories on CCD in the US.

This time it’s a virus called the ‘ Israeli acute paralysis virus’.  The association of this virus with CCD is less than certain, and the working assumption is still that it’s a combination of factors.

    IAPV is present in some CCD hives but not others. I believe a heavy virus load is common, but given the prevalence of mites, that’s not hard to explain!
